Puppy Over 6 Months 1-1

We contacted Sam as we wanted to give our girl a good foundation at an early stage. We started actively training at 6 months and started with an over stimulated, opinionated, pulling like a steam train cockerpoo. We are less than 10 sessions in a have a totally different dog, she is focused and keen to please - polar opposite to the screaming banshee she started off as! Sam is patient (thank you!), sympathetic to the dogs individual needs, understanding and can always back up / explain in great detail her approach to training. We only wanted a pup that would walk easily on the lead / along side if possible. We are virtually there, but the best bit is, Sam helping form these foundations has enabled the next steps to flow with ease. Recall was non existent (she turned to cloth ears) to a pup that has tuned in and looking for you, the fear of escaping the door is no longer there as she comes straight back. I whole heartedly believe the investment of Sam’s time will ensure we have many years of being able to go on many adventures with a grounded - but still keen and inquisitive dog. Thank you
